“Trio Aurora” was formed in 2007 by three
talented, professional, classically trained musicians and
consists of violin, viola and cello. The ensemble,
however, can also perform as a violin and cello duo on
request, for smaller and more intimate events.
Some of “Trio Aurora’s” performances
have included events, by request at Parliament House at
official Parliamentary Dinners. “Trio Aurora” has
also performed at various classical recital series. These
have included the Friday @ Floreat concert recital series
at Floreat Uniting Church, and in the winter concert recital
series held at the Ranier Gallery.
“Trio Aurora’s” style is one of elegance,
grace and sophistication. The trio’s repertoire is
mainly classical, but also includes contemporary and popular
selections, such as, many well known songs from musical
theatre. The repertoire also includes a large selection
of violin and cello duets. Presentation is an important
part of the groups’ image and is always one of class
and sophistication.
