Born on 27 th June 1963, Maldives, Nashid sought music at a very young age exploring and experimenting with a variety of musical instruments, before discovering his extraordinary talents in guitar. Having spent most of his life practicing, refining and perfecting his talents in music, Nashid has achieved a remarkable versatility capable of entertaining a wide range of clientele, moods and tastes. For 25 years Nashid has enthralled audiences from all walks of life, toured many countries in Europe and performed in several major shows delighting his audiences whenever and wherever he played. Nashid's clever lyrics, the resonant and stylish husky voice, the tasteful and accomplished guitar work, explores a varied terrain of all forms of music and demonstrates a wealth of experience that is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Drawing upon his vast, diverse experiences and influences, Nashid's music explores elements of Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Blues, Maldivian and world music and creates a unique combination of highly original tunes that seamlessly integrates into the modern music scene.
