Originally from London UK,
Aaron J Woolley was founder member of the 'classic rock band'
'ICE' (in the early 80's) - and prior to 'ICE' was the lead
guitarist in the original 'BEATNIX' line-up.
THE BEATNIX being Perth and Australia's first 'tribute' band, playing the music of THE BEATLES.
By the late 80's, Aaron J Woolley formed a cabaret band 'KOKOMO'
primarily to open THE BURSWOOD CASINO -
and they remained the main house band there for the first 12
months.
Aaron J Woolley, returned to the UK in the early 90's, performing
solo regularly in Perth Clubs and Festivals and
also running an established recording studio in West London.
Since returning to Perth in late 2001, Aaron
J Woolley has performed mainly in an Acoustic setting,
with very light backings - or totally unplugged, with the emphasis
being on 'let the audience here some real playing' rather than
the hiding behind the midi sequence syndrome.
The repertoire is continually expanding with a large variety of music styles - suitable for any corporate entertainment function venue or situation.
Aaron
J Woolley has recently reformed 'KOKOMO' - and exists
as a duo(with female vocalist), trio or 4 or 5 peice unit
- depending on the situation etc and is an ideal band for
any corporate function etc.
