Cafe Jazz are a seven piece
jazz band (2 saxes, keyboard, bass, drums, guitar and female
singer) who play mainly jazz standards such as 'Mack The
Knife', 'Satin Doll', 'It Don't Mean a Thing', 'Summertime',
'Girl from Ipanema' 'Lady is a Tramp' etc. for informal background
music to create a laid-back atmosphere perfect for any
event. Cafe Jazz can also rev it up as necessary if
the occasion requires it. Their repertoire also includes
other swing, blues and Latin numbers.
Cafe Jazz have played at a number of key locations around
Perth including Frasers in Kings Park, Matilda Bay, Sorrento
Quay, Northbridge Hotel, Social on Station in Subiaco, Toodyay
Jazz Festival and Lamonts Winery. They are currently playing
a regular show at The Feral Brewing Co in the Swan Valley.
