Nathan Sinclair is recognized as one of the finest Australian guitarists of his generation. International concert artist Craig Ogden describes him as ‘without a doubt one of the best musical talents ever to emerge from Western Australia’. In 2004, Nathan took 1st prize in the Australian International Guitar Competition from a field of over thirty national and international performers. In that year Nathan was only the second guitarist ever to make the concerto round of the ABC Young Performers Award.
Since then has been featured in the Australian Guitar Magazine, and played on national radio and television. In 2004 Nathan Sinclair was a guest performer with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in Mahler’s 7th symphony.
In 2005, Nathan was a soloist at the nationally televised Australia day concert, and in February supported international superstar Sting in front of 6000 people at the 2005 Leeuwin concert.
In 2005 Nathan also made his professional concerto debut with the Queensland Symphony orchestra performing Rodrigo’s famous Spanish work Concierto de Aranjuez. In 2005 Nathan was given the honour of giving the opening recital at the Darwin International guitar festival- a festival which attracts some of the world’s most accomplished guitarists. Nathan Sinclair has been a finalist and prizewinner in international competitions in Japan and Singapore and Spain where he was a finalist in the Joauquin Rodrigo international music competition. In 2006 Nathan’s music and profile as a young performer was featured on ABC Classic Fm’s ‘Rising Stars’ program.
In 2011, Nathan formed the highly succesful duo, Aires Linares, with their debut EP earning them to be signed on by Yamaha as concert artists.
Nathan Sinclair performs an eclectic range of music from Spanish and latin music to classical and modern jazz. Nathan is one of the few guitarists in Australia to hold a Master’s degree in music performance- this education combined with almost 25 years of performance experience making him an artist of the highest calibre.
Nathan Sinclair is available for weddings, cocktail functions, corporate dinners, private parties, art exhibitions and store openings.

Just back from our honeymoon which was sensational, just like the wedding day itself!
He was superb - excellent standard, professional, many positive comments back from people as to how much they enjoyed his performance. My niece's husband is also a classical guitar performer so he had a kindred spirit which he seemed to enjoy...
We'd love his number if that were at all possible as he is keen to catch up with him again if he'd be interested...
Cheers & thanks

A big THANK YOU for the fantastic performance at the Vysarn Dinner last night. I’ve had so many people tell me how good he was. He was perfect for the occasion. Our Managing Director was extremely happy this morning (although a bit hungover!) We look forward to seeing him again at our future corporate events. Thanks again and best regards,
