Sambalicious have been performing gigs nationwide since 2004, and since Day One have been rocking the parties and creating the vibe at some big gigs. Sambalicious are the in-house band at The Aberdeen Hotel's fiery Thursday night Brazilian party, pulling more than 450 people through the door on an average night and holding down their residency since the bands beginning in 2004. Sambalicious were headlining act for the Sydney Brazil Carnaval in 2007, The Latin American Cultural Carnaval in 2005, '06 and '07, the Busselton Beach Festival '06, '07 and have performed supporting a variety of National and International artists such as Cafe del Mar's Jose Padilla and Australian Crawl's James Reyne.

The bands strength is derived from their ability to engage their audience which they do through playing a range of Brazilian tunes, brazilian versions of popular tunes and straight out party standards. Sambalicious play a fine selection of the best music that Brazil has on offer which includes sultry Bossa Novas and Forrós to funky Brazilian Samba-rock and Reggae. The band is available in a 7 or 9 piece band with options of adding a huge percussion set of loud, tight, Brazilian Carnival Drumming. ( Formats below )
